Love? What is love? Do we actually know?  Do we really care?  Is love an action?  A feeling?  A phrase or saying?  A person?  Maybe even a place.  Is there such a thing as true love. One and only one true lover? Fate? Destiny?  Love at first sight? What are these things? Do they really exist? or did we as human beings just make them up to be something they are not?  If someone told you that they loved you, yet they did not understand the meaning of love, would it still have the same affect.  According to the world around us there are many different kinds of love.  The love for a parent, grandparent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, or cousin.  The love for a spouse.  The love for a boyfriend or girlfriend.  Strangely those two loves are different.  There is also the love for a friend.  The love for a pet. And finaly the love of oneself.  There are many other kinds of "love" floating around in this world.  There are many people in this world who may never know what it is like to love, or to be loved.  Love is a special thing, that is only known by some people.  Many people think they know what love really is, but they really don't.  "I love you, but I'm not in love with you."  Contradicting statements such as that one, throw off peoples preception of love.  To be young and in love is rare, im not saying it doesn't happen, 'cause I have seen it before, but it is rare.  Love is a thing learned by maturity.  It involves responsibility.   It requires greatness, attention, caringness, and most of all comunication.  True love is rare, but when found it is great.  Is that true?  Seems to me these days that love doesn't last forever.  Or are people just unaware of what love really is.  Think of all the people that are gettin divorces, think of all the single parents.  If it was true love they had found, and true love was really great, would there have been a need for a divorce?  Would there be single parents and bastard children in this world?  Do we know what we're talking about?  Do we know what it is?  Will we ever know?  Is love really love? Or is it just a word, incorrectly used?  I may never know, and you may neither.  Live your life how you like, and I shall live mine they way I enjoy.  Love the way you know how, and I shall love like no other.
